Feed A Mosquito Mosquitoes List: Documented Mosquito Types

A verified Feed A Mosquito mosquitoes list: 19 named mosquito types plus the boss mosquitoes, with observed rarity labels, pay examples and feeding traits. Not a claim of every mosquito.

Feed A Mosquito keeps most mosquitoes hidden until an egg hatches in your base or one attacks you in the field, and the game's own index tracks which ones you have and haven't found. Across two full playthroughs, 19 named mosquito types show up on screen, plus the boss mosquitoes players fight for eggs. The roster runs from the "Common nerd mosquito" you hatch first and the tiny uncommon venomous mosquito to the dragon mosquito paying about 150k and the Kraken mosquito paying about 4 million per second. This page lists those documented types with the traits each one actually showed — it is not a claim that every mosquito in the game is on it.

Mosquitoes you hatch and raise

Eggs come from defeating boss mosquitoes, and every larva dropped in the first area is common, so all new players start at the same low tier. These are the named base mosquitoes the two playthroughs show, roughly in the order each appears:

MosquitoHow it was documentedConfirmed trait or note
Nerd mosquitoFirst hatch of a run, labeled "Common nerd mosquito"Retired once stronger mosquitoes arrived
Venomous mosquitoUncommon label on the hatch screenVery tiny; paid 6 per second when placed and 24 per second at 100% fed
Punk mosquitoHatched with pumpkin-colored hair in one run; fought as an egg target in the otherWeak feeder that barely drains blood; about $45 per second when fed
Blue mosquitoHatched in both runsPlainly blue; its owner said he doesn't know of any advantage to it
Clown mosquitoHatched from an egg called a "clown mosquito egg"Seen only at hatch — no stats shown
Chicken mosquitoLate-game hatchCalled "very efficient"; about 250 bucks per second
King mosquitoNamed late-game hatchFed up right after hatching
Robotic mosquitoLate-game hatchIntroduced with the line "your mosquitoes now are AI"
Demon mosquitoLate-game hatchBiggest earner in its base, producing most of roughly 300k per second in total
Shock mosquitoRolled as the run's legendary hatchDrains blood almost instantly during feeding; fully fed later in the same session
Balloon mosquitoEpic-tier hatchSeen only at hatch — no stats shown
Fire mosquitoEpic-tier hatchSeen only at hatch — no stats shown
Dragon mosquitoMythical hatchAbout 150k per second
Kraken mosquitoLast and largest hatch of a mythical batchAbout 4 million per second; defeated a player with 1 million health mid-feeding
Unicorn mosquitoFinal hatch of a runTreated as end-game; mythical mosquitoes described as the best obtainable at that point

Boss mosquitoes you fight for eggs

The official loop is to fight boss mosquitoes for mosquito eggs, feed what hatches, and upgrade your base and weapons. Beating a field mosquito makes it drop larvae, and you can also pick up larvae from mosquitoes other players defeat. The boss mosquitoes named in the footage are:

  • Housewife mosquito — a fightable field boss. One player estimated about 500 health — probably a little more — to take it down.
  • Crazy scientist mosquito — a large, creepy design that hit back with heavy damage during the boss encounters.
  • Fighting mosquito — carries a sword and was far too strong for an early player. The auto-captions spell it "Ferman," "Fman" and "FMA" at different points, so treat that spelling as uncertain.
  • Yeti mosquito — a high-health boss one player couldn't defeat until buying the mosquito spray, a Robux weapon that deals 10 million damage.
  • Serberos mosquito — the last entry in the lineup of boss mosquitoes players "apparently have to face." It is only seen in that lineup: whether it can be hatched and kept like other mosquitoes isn't shown, and one player's guess that the giant mosquitoes observed near bases come from Serberos stays unconfirmed.

The boss fight guide covers the fight loop, and the boss list keeps the full lineup in one place.

How this list was checked

The names and traits above are read from on-screen labels, hatch results and captions in two separate full playthroughs, with punk, blue and housewife appearing in both. The game also includes an index UI that tracks found and missing mosquitoes — one player opens it early, notes how little he has found, and hunts two silhouettes shown there. Because that index is never shown in full on camera, and because Update V2 added new weapons, a new boss and a PVP zone without naming new variants, treat this as the documented roster rather than a proven-complete one, and re-check it against your in-game index after each patch (see updates).

Confirmed differences between mosquitoes

Rarity labels run from common to mythical, and they appear on screen rather than being guessed. The first hatch is a "Common nerd mosquito," all first-area larvae are common, the venomous mosquito is explicitly uncommon, and boss-fight eggs roll rare and epic results. One result screen reads "Epic egg, mythical, legendary"; a mythical egg showed a 7-minute timer, while some late eggs took about 4 hours to open. How the top results behave is covered on the legendary tier page.

Pay climbs as you feed. A mosquito's per-second pay starts low and rises with its fed percentage — one player sums it up: if a mosquito pays 100, it starts by paying about 10. The venomous mosquito went from 6 to 24 per second at 100% fed, and mosquitoes visibly grow in size as the percentage climbs. Spot readings from the footage put the punk around $45 per second, the chicken around 250, the dragon around 150k and the Kraken around 4 million. These are single-session readings at whatever feed level each mosquito happened to be — not a balanced stat table — so expect your own numbers to differ with feeding.

Stronger mosquitoes drain more blood. Feeding costs your own blood, and better mosquitoes pull harder: the weak punk barely drains health, the shock mosquito takes blood almost instantly, and the Kraken defeats a player with 1 million health mid-feed. Build up a bigger blood supply before hatching high tiers — how to get blood explains the options.

Do colors mean anything?

Blue, purple and rainbow-looking mosquitoes are all visible in the footage, but no stat or rarity conclusion follows from color. The blue mosquito's owner said he doesn't know of any advantage to it; calling a purple larva more valuable was that player's own speculation; and rainbow-looking mosquitoes hatched in another player's base with no stats shown. Identify mosquitoes by their names and labels — the hatch screen and the index — not by appearance.

From identifying mosquitoes to using them

Every mosquito in your base feeds on your own blood, and its pay only reaches full value at 100% fed, so each new hatch needs a feeding session before it earns properly. The feeding guide walks through the interaction, and mosquito eggs covers where eggs come from. Both playthroughs end the same way: weaker mosquitoes get replaced or retired as stronger hatches arrive, which is exactly why identification comes first. Once you can tell your mosquitoes apart, the best mosquito guide picks up the comparison from there.
